The Forest Stewards Guild, in collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service, is currently seeking interested applicants for 9-week paid seasonal Timber marking technician positions. Positions will run from August 1 - September 29 and will be based out of Grants, NM.
Crew members will be working in the enchanting Zuni Mountains performing tree marking, a critical activity for ecological restoration and wildfire resilience. Participating in timber marking is a great way to gain experience in natural resource management while spending time outdoors!
Technician positions will be under the supervision of U.S. Forest Service Mt. Taylor Ranger District timber staff. Applications will be reviewed starting July 5th on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
