The Mt. Taylor FSYC crew helps with water quality monitoring at Tampico Draw.
The Forest Stewards Guild is currently hiring a crew leader for our Summer Forest Stewards Youth Corps based out of the Mt. Taylor Ranger District. Do you know of a young person, age 21 or older, that would be interested in working as a crew leader for the Coyote Ranger District's Forest Stewards Youth Corps. As you know, this position is a great opportunity to build some leadership skills and work outside this summer. Please help us recruit the right individual by sharing this information with anyone you know that may help us fill this position.

Crews based in Jemez Pueblo and Mountainair, Las Vegas, Coyote, Mt. Taylor US Forest Service Ranger Stations
Season runs from June 7th – August 6th
For HS aged youth 16-19 years old
FSYC Fall Fire & Fuels Program Crew members
Apply by June 13th.
Program runs from August 16th – November 19th
Crews based in Jemez Pueblo, Mountainair and Española US Forest Ranger Stations
Must be between 18-25 years old
FSYC Crew Leaders
Housing available for Mountainair based crew leader
Option to apply for summer, fall, or both seasons
Summer Crew Leader Application: Open until filled.
Fall Crew Leaders: two rounds of hiring.
